Recommended treatments for breast cancer commonly cause CINV¹²

Highly emetogenic chemotherapy (HEC) and moderately emetogenic chemotherapy (MEC) regimens including agents such as
- Doxorubicin
- Cyclophosphamide
- Epirubicin

Specific issues increase the probability of developing CINV

Gender	Females are more susceptible to CINV compared to males¹³ A history of morning sickness during pregnancy increases CINV risk up to 2.5 times¹⁴
Recent surgery	Recent surgery, such as a mastectomy, can increase CINV risk almost 4 times¹⁴
Age	Age less than 40 years can increase CINV risk about 2.5 times¹⁴

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
SANCUSO^® (Granisetron Transdermal System) is indicated for the prevention of nausea and vomiting in patients receiving moderately and/or highly emetogenic chemotherapy regimens of up to 5 consecutive days duration.¹ SANCUSO is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to granisetron or to any of the components of the patch.¹ Granisetron may mask a progressive ileus and/or gastric distention caused by the underlying condition.¹ Mild application site reactions have occurred; remove the patch if severe reaction or a generalized skin reaction occurs.¹ Patients should avoid direct exposure of application site to natural or artificial sunlight by covering with clothing while wearing the patch and for 10 days after removing it.¹ The most common adverse reaction in patients receiving SANCUSO is constipation (5.4%).¹ SANCUSO contains granisetron.¹ Healthcare professionals should avoid prescribing any additional products that contain granisetron. No clinically relevant drug interactions have been reported in clinical studies with SANCUSO.¹
